Jean Jullien's Nest is eggs-cellent and all other egg puns rolled into one

We last featured Jean Jullien’s work in May, but when stuff like this project comes through, in all its egg-soaked glory, we can’t not tell you about it! The London-based French designer has just completed Le Nid (The Nest) for a space in Nantes, his hometown.

Situated on top of a 144 metre building, it overlooks the city, and is a combination of bar, viewing point, and art-installation in one. The bar itself is located along the body of a giant bird, who occasionally shuts its eyes for a snooze. Around the room, there are egg-shaped tables and chairs where people can relax and chat, and a viewing point for those who want to enjoy a birds-eye view of the streets. Check out his absolutely awesome developmental illustrations as well. Wow. We’ll all be flocking to this place. Sorry.
